None of the other islands in the Canaries have such a varied coastline as Gran Canaria. The magnificent beaches on the southern
shores with their broad stretches of golden sand contrasts with the lakes and spectacular landscapes of canyons, towering
rocky mountains, pine forests and green valleys spilling over with tropical fruits and vegetation that you can find in the North
of Gran Canaria. Truly an island continent.
Puerto Rico
Situated on the South West coast of the Island between Playa del Inglés and Puerto de Mogán, Puerto Rico is a very popular all year round
holiday resort for all ages. Set around a golden sandy bay where you can hire sun beds and parasols to just laze the day away. No other resorts
in Gran Canaria have the beautiful marinas and varieties of water sports as Puerto Rico has to offer. You will also find a beautiful cliff edge path,
which leads to Amadores beach with it's fine coral sand. There are 3 pedestrianised commercial centres where you will find an abundance of
good quality restaurants and bars, many with live entertainment and of course duty free shops, all of which are incredibly cheap. Once people
have visited Puerto Rico they inevitably return, their hearts having been captured. | |
